5 Chrome Extensions Every Business Owner Should Have

Every business owner knows, “time is money.”

And let’s get real… no matter what kind of business you are running, you have to deal with backend administrative computer work on a weekly/daily basis. Between planning social media, updating content, and sitting down to catch up on emails, it can add up to a lot of time!

So if you have ever sat at your computer trying to copy and paste for hours, or have searched through your old emails trying to find your branding fonts and color, this blog is for YOU!

We want to make your computer work just a bit easier, and that’s why we created this list of the 5 Chrome extensions every business owner should have. Not only will these extensions save you time, but they will save your sanity!

  1. Grammarly

There is nothing like an embarrassing typo, which is why Grammarly is a must-have for ALL business owners. From writing emails to social media posts to newsletters, Grammarly is your BFF! It is seamlessly integrated into all the text boxes of Chrome which makes it an easy and reliable system.

  1. Clipboard History Pro

This clipboard manager extension keeps a history of copied text, syncs clipboard items,  and allows for instant paste. It saves every text you copied, manages clipboard history, and helps you with daily copy-paste routines. We use this a lot when working off of spreadsheets and helps mitigate flipping back and forth between pages.

  1. LastPass

Okay, Google Passwords is INCREDIBLE but if you are looking to share passwords with a team, LastPass makes passwords accessible through a log-in portal. This makes it easy to keep your critical information safe and secure so you can access it whenever you want, wherever you are. Save all your passwords, addresses, credit cards and more in your secure vault and LastPass will automatically fill in your information when you need it!

  1. Asana

We use Asana for our project management and have had a lot of success with it but if you have another project management system like Slack, Monday, or Notion, they should also have extensions available. I love having the ability to add in tasks while looking through my email or going through my website projects. It allows for you to do a “braindump” while working which you can go back and check later!

  1. ColorZilla

This is probably my most used chrome extension in my toolbox. Because we work on websites and graphics, being able to match and pull colors is crucial! Not only can you pull colors from the chrome page, but it also keeps a clipboard that you can refer back to. Literally copy and paste for colors!

We hope some of these extensions will help you save time and if you have any favorite extensions that we missed, let us know!
